Information on the disposal of old electrical equipment in accordance with ElektroG
1. Disposal of electrical and electronic equipment Certain devices are marked with a symbol of a “crossed-out wheelie bin” (e.g., in advertising on the Internet, product descriptions, on the products themselves, or on their packaging).
This symbol indicates that you are legally obligated to dispose of such devices separately from sorted municipal waste. It is prohibited to dispose of such devices in household waste, e.g., the residual waste bin or the yellow bin. You can avoid incorrect disposal by taking the items to a special collection and return point.

You can return the old device free of charge to a distributor—and thus also to us—regardless of whether you are purchasing a new device of the same type, provided that the external dimensions of the device do not exceed 25 cm and the return is limited to three old devices per device type. - If the device is delivered to your private household (e.g., by mail), the old device can also be returned free of charge by picking it up at your private household. When concluding the purchase contract, we will ask you for products that fall under the Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act whether you would like to return your old device when the new device is delivered to your private household. Let us know that you would like to return your old device and we will arrange for it to be collected. Information on the disposal of used batteries/accumulators Used batteries and accumulators (hereinafter referred to as used batteries) must not be disposed of in normal household waste. As a consumer, you are even legally obliged to dispose of used batteries in suitable collection points, which is set up at the trade or in the municipality. The batteries can be handed in there free of charge. We are also obliged to take back free of charge used batteries that we carry or have carried as new batteries. Please note that batteries may contain pollutants or heavy metals that can harm the environment and/or human health. Special care should be taken when using batteries containing lithium. At the same time, batteries contain important raw materials that can be recycled during separate waste battery collection and do not pollute the environment. Please help reduce battery waste by choosing long-lasting or rechargeable batteries, using batteries only in devices you genuinely need, and replacing old batteries only when they are truly depleted.
