The new flashlight and camping light for children

Solingen, March 2022 - Little adventurers from the age of three now have a wide choice: To complement the Kidled2 and Kidled4R children's headlamps, the lighting experts at Ledlenser now also offer the Kidbeam4 flashlight, suitable for children and the Kidcamp6 camping light. All models are equipped with exciting features such as flashing lights and different light colours, are as easy as they are safe to use and are each available in two cheerful designs: green dinosaurs or purple-blue rainbows.

With the new models, we also want to enable our youngest customers to playfully discover the world with the right light," says Philipp Elsner, Product Manager at Ledlenser. "To ensure that fun is not neglected, we have also equipped the torch and camping light with light functions that make children's hearts beat faster." 

The Kidbeam4 torch is a versatile companion for all exploratory tours - whether in the garden at home, while playing or on the way home. Even a fall from a height of 1.5 metres is no problem for this robust light. With 70 lumens, the luminaire provides brightness; alternatively, a gentle 10 lumens can be set. In any case, the reduced glare effect ensures that children's sensitive eyes are protected. In addition to classic white light, red, green and blue light provide more play fun. Thanks to the flashing function, exciting effects can also be achieved. Safety is also taken care of: the lamp is operated with two alkaline batteries that are stored in a lockable compartment. To ensure that no energy is wasted, an automatic switch-off can be set after 20 minutes. The lightweight torch weighs only 72 g and can also be attached with a clip, e.g. to the belt.

Cosy reading light or flashing party fun? Kidcamp6 is both, making it a universal light source for many occasions, whether on camping holidays or children's birthday parties. The round lamp can be easily attached with the fold-out hook, e.g. to a tent pole. It also comes with four light colours. So, with static white, red, blue or green, very different moods can be created - from jungle to pirate ship. If the flashing function is set, Kidcamp6 becomes a small disco ball. The 60 lumens in power mode provide pleasant brightness for reading or playing. Thanks to the glare-free optics, it is easy on the eyes. In Low Power mode, a gentle 10 lumens are produced: this means that the practical light dispenser can also be used as a cosy light for falling asleep, which goes out by itself after 20 minutes thanks to the automatic switch-off. This model is also equipped with a lockable battery compartment.
